Dedicated by Yerba Buena Chapter-1 on May 5, 1949.
Among those attending the ceremony were:
(L-R) Virginia Eddy; Clyde Arbuckle, Hustorian; Dr. Earl E. Rhoads;
William G. Huff, Sculptor; and William G. Paden, School Superintendent.
Although this plaque was not erected by Mountain Charlie No.1850,
it is an important part of Santa Clara County history.
This east-facing plaque is embedded into a granite
stone brought from Donner Pass, California.
It is located in Section C, Block 9, lot 4
Use the Monterey Road entrance gate,
and follow the road to the right (North-West).
